Zugleich veranschaulicht er, wie die Kriminalisierung von Schwangerschaftsabbrüchen Menschen in Gefahr bringen kann.

Inspired by their compassion and commitment, Joy joins them, putting every aspect of her life on the line.

“Call Jane” poignantly addresses this issue and exposes the consequences of illegal abortions for the individuals involved. The film bridges the past and present of women’s rights and the right to abortion. At the same time, it shows how the criminalization of abortion can put people in danger.
